This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to respond to the goals and aspirations of older people and provide support services in a manner that focuses on improving health outcomes and quality of life, using a person-centred approach.

This unit applies to support workers in residential or community contexts.

Assessment Conditions
Skills must be demonstrated in an ageing support workplace. If not already working in industry, we will assist you in finding placement.
If you're training as a group or organisation, we offer custom packages.
These packages consider who you are, how many people in your group and flexibility of schedules. We know getting everyone in the room at the same time is often difficult if not impossible for many organisations, so we offer running starts that suits the different schedules of your people.
